🏳️‍🌈 Happy Pride! Get your sunglasses and lace up your shoes because this next week has a wide variety of colorful activities available to kickstart your weekend! 🏳️‍🌈

Show your Pride!

Join over 250,000 people on July 13th in one of the largest and most colorful events in the area, San Diego Pride! Centered in Hillcrest, this year’s Pride Parade will be filled with floats, music, and marchers recognizing the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots which launched the modern-day LGBTQ+ rights movement. Whether you are a member of the community or an ally, join in on the festivities during this free event. More information about the parade can be found here. Pride with a Side of Coffee and Sweets

OUT in Little Italy

Looking for a Sunday brunch to remember? The streets of Little Italy will be holding a colorful and lively Pride celebration featuring a mimosa brunch with diverse food options from surrounding restaurants at the Piazza della Famiglia from 9 – 11:30 am on Sunday the 14th. Drag performances are guaranteed to serve a full order of fierceness as you taste your way through brunch and bottomless mimosas. Drag up your Summer!

In addition to their existing exhibition entitled “LGBTQ+ San Diego: Stories of Struggles and Triumphs,” the San Diego History Center will be honoring the art of drag until September 8th. Items belonging to nine leading drag queens, including their costumes and jewelry, will be on display at the History Center along with information about the established legacy of Drag in supporting and spearheading movements in the LGBTQ+ community.
